FTI Secretariat leads reform and education quality agenda and provides operational and policy support to LEGs

Actions

Develop a Secretariat staffing plan, work program, and budget reflecting substantive capacity in communications, external relations, monitoring and evaluation, operational and policy support to LEGs, web-enabled knowledge capture and sharing

Progress to Date

• May 2010: Staffing plan and work program discussed and approved by Board.
• July 2010: New Secretariat structure implemented.
• May 2010-November 2010: Recruitments for multiple key positions; Coordinator for External Relations and Communications Team appointed and in place; Review of bids for M&E contract completed.
• November 2010: Detailed Secretariat Team Work Plans finalized for review by Board.
