Learning and Technology World Forum, London, UK -- 01/11-13/10 -- Carol Bellamy, Chair of the Education for All/Fast Track Initiative (EFA FTI) supported Robin Horn's challenge to restore the primacy of education on a global agenda.
She commented that at least 72 million children in poor countries were still missing out on education in the 21st century and talked about the importance of providing children with a right to education.
Carol Bellamy provided an overview of the Fast Track Initiative for All, a global partnership launched in 2002 to accelerate progress of education for all and ensure that all children are in education by 2015.
She stressed the importance of technology to help make this happen and talked in detail about the success of EFA FTI so far.
