3rd Capacity Development Workshop

A third Capacity Development Workshop titled "Country Leadership and Implementation for Results in the EFA-FTI Partnership" was organized by the World Bank in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Culture and Human Resources in Mauritius from December 1 to 5, 2008. The workshop brought together over 80 participants including 5 senior officials from the Ministry of Education and 2 donor representatives from the 7 Sub-Saharan African countries: Benin, Guinea, Lesotho, Madagascar, Mali, Rwanda, and Sierra Leone, as well as members of the EFA-FTI Secretariat, staff from headquarters of donor agencies, representatives of the Mauritian Ministry of Education, Culture and Human Resources, several resource persons and World Bank staff attended this workshop. The Minister of Education, Culture and Human Resources of Mauritius delivered the opening remarks.
