Capacity Development Workshop

Country Leadership and Implementation for Results in the EFA-FTI

A Capacity Development workshop, organized by the World Bank and hosted by the Government of South Africa, took place in Cape Town from July 16 to 19, 2007. It was attended by government officials from Zambia, Burundi, Lesotho, Madagascar, Uganda and Sierra Leone, as well as donor and international organization representatives.

The objective of the workshop was to provide a forum for discussion around education issues in Sub-Saharan Africa, and to share knowledge and best practices across countries and organizations.
