FTI Reform AgendaSupervising Entity Options for Catalytic Fund AllocationsMarch 29, 2010
FTI Reform Agenda
Washington, DC -- 03/29/10 -- The FTI Board of Directors encourages Local Education Groups to consider the particular skills and strengths of all donors and multilaterals with presence in the Partner Country when recommending the organization to play the role of Supervising Entity of a Catalytic Fund Allocation. The Supervising Entity designation should be tailored to each country's particular circumstances. It is not required that this role be carried out by the World Bank. At the same time, the FTI Board urges all donors and multilaterals to consider taking on the responsibility of supervising a Catalytic Fund allocation to the Partner country where they feel they are best suited to play that role.
